A Livery driver was shot during an attempted robbery on the night of Sept. 17 in Brooklyn, according to the NYPD. The incident occurred around midnight near the intersection of Varet and Bogart streets in the East Williamsburg area.

A bullet grazed the neck of the 62-year-old Livery driver when a man trying to rob him opened fire. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police said no property was taken.
