Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a white ambulette that hit a pedestrian in Brooklyn, then fled. The van struck a 65-year-old man crossing the street near Sutter Avenue around 5:45pm on May 30, according to police.

The man’s hip was broken in the collision. He was taken to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition. The van drove away after the crash, and the driver is being sought for leaving the scene of an accident, according to police.
